Why become a member and pay my fees?

 We provide all the resources you will need to enjoy your novels. Upon membership you will receive a seasonal newsletter of upcoming events and news coverage on selected novels. When you do obtain a membership you will be an official member. We also give you the option to become apart of our street team which is strictly voluntary. Upon membership you will get an AAMBC t-shirt, which helps promote our book club, you also get the opportunity to be nominated for the member of the month. When novels are featured through us we give you the option to get a signed autograph from the author, sent straight to you direct mail, using your own book of course. Purchasing a membership is only $60 a year. To get a t-shirt you will need to purchase at least six months worth of memberships. We do plan on next year starting an annual book club meeting so that we can meet all of our members face to face, and take an annual trip to the national book club conference in Atlanta held every first weekend of august and the African American Literary Award Show. Monthly membership funds will be used for the website, AAMBC gear, newsletters, donations to non-profit organizations, and for our annual trips, and scholarships. Don’t hesitate become a member today. I recommend you all to start your own AAMBC book club meetings in your local area. Spread the word; promote our movement and our authors.
